ALSD operates a very special Learning Center at the administrative office on Southwest Freeway. The program and facility are designed to serve individuals with varying physical and developmental disabilities. The weekly curriculum always includes exercise, reading, current events, crafts, cooking, community outings, games and educational activities. A new theme is introduced each week to keep the clients learning and interested. ALSD Learning Center is currently only accepting HCS clients that receive RSS or FC/HH services through ALSD. In addition to accepting HCS payment for ISS services, the ALSD Learning Center also charges a $20/month Activity/Supply Fee.
